History of Bluestacks App: Best Android Emulator

Bluestacks is a technology company of America that produces cloud-based products of cross-platform, especially Bluestacks App Player. This App Player is intended to enable different Android Apps to run on computers running Apple’s macOS and Microsoft Windows. In 2009, Suman Saraf, Jay Vaishnav, and Rosen Sharma, a member of and earlier CTO at McAfee, founded the company.

The investors include AMD, Ignition Partners, Radar Partners, Citrix, Qualcomm, Intel, Samsung, Redpoint, Andreessen Horowitz, and others.

In San Francisco, the company was proclaimed at a conference of Citrix Synergy on 25th May 2011. Mark Templeton, the Citrix CEO, showed an early Bluestacks version onstage and declared that the firms had made a partnership. On 11th October 2011, the alpha version of the Bluestacks App was released.  On 7th June 2014, the App exited beta.

Bluestacks App Player

The software, App player, virtualized the Android Operating System, is downloaded in the versions of macOS and Windows 10. The basic features of the software are free to install and use. In November 2019, the Bluestacks apps were downloaded by more than 210 million people. The App Player includes a keyboard, mouse, and additional controls of the touchpad.

Bluestacks App for Mac

On 27th June 2012, the organization launched the alpha-1 version of the Bluestacks App Player for macOS, although the beta version was launched on 27th December 2012.

Bluestacks 2.0

Bluestacks Inc. launched the Bluestacks 2 new version in December 2015, allowing users to run different Android apps instantaneously. Till 2018, this Bluestacks was also accessible for Mac Operating System x 10.9 Mavericks or above.
